Motherwell

Rail strike and snow gave three more days in Oban than I had planned.  The bus was full online but not in person so I didn’t have to pay for a room in Glasgow whilst still in Oban.

Today was off to Carluke & Motherwell. Half pint pub crawl day

The North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre seemed to be a good way to get the overview

Wee Billy , a local hero

The winner pub du jour was the Grant Arms, back in Glesga.

And I found this food bank creative with a tap card to make a donation. So I did.  Are food banks and billionaires were a sigh of a falling society? Volunteers should take a couple of those tap signs about the city to reach more folks willing to help

When a trip is wrapping up and I know how long before I’m sitting in a proper pub drinking a Belhaven, I usually do just that.  A few times!
