Ciaran Spetz McElhinney was bartending and we began to chat. He joined me for pint after shift and we found we had a friend in common. Somehow the topic of guns came up and he told me he had a Bren or something. What?!!? Turns out Cairan does reenactments and had spent time at Bemeish where Keith Whitelock who I had met near Hadrians Wall also does reenactments. Small world!
Now about my hotel room. That’s it the space between the & wall is less than my boot. Door rattles all night as does the plumbing. no chair, closet, draws, table. easyHotel. I’ll never again use one.
