Beamish Part 2, The manor house

by WBlackwell on October 9, 2018

The next stop was the manor house represents the home of a well to do tenant farmer in the 1820’s. Complete with orchards, vegetable & herb gardens.

Just behind the manor house sits a workers cabin

The church is typical of the era but on the stones in the back the numbers were put three for the dismantling and reassembling of the building
