Here’s my kit. The black pack @ 35# the blue @13#. I’ll try and book places within 2 miles of the rails station (or bus). Small pack is the carry on. I need a backpack during day trips in the UK (and probably everywhere this time of year) because you need a place to keep raingear handy, a spare water maybe some fruit as needed. Remember, it’s not the weather that’s bad, it’s the clothing. Heavy sweater in the blue and my Trepass in the blk top. And layers of merino.
