Royal Botanic Garden – Edinburgh

by WBlackwell on May 10, 2017

This is the easiest post ever as so few words are needed.  I’ve been to the Garden in the past and loved it.  Apparently in Edinburgh, March showers bring April flowers since most of the spring blooms had faded but it was still nice.

Climbing this would puzzle a monkey

Now that’s a hedge!

I used to grow Scotch Broom in Wareham, Ma

Gunnera, one of my favorite UK plants.  By August the leaves will be 6’/1.8m across.

Gorse.  Thorns that would rip you to shreds and a scent like cocoa butter.  So sweet!

Especially in the 10 glasshouses!  Enjoy.

This plant must live on air as it had no roots!

Bamboo about 4″/10cm diameter
