Royal Botanic Gardens – Edinburgh

by WBlackwell on August 17, 2003

It was another brilliant day so I decided on a walk of a couple of miles to the Royal Botanic Gardens and was very pleased I did so.  After a walk through mostly residential areas of stone buildings housing numerous flats, I came upon an oasis.  The gardens are stunningly beautiful.  A treat for any Groundskeeper.  Be they named ‘Willie’ or not.  A lotus flower,  giant (4 foot) lily pads, a Monkey Puzzle tree were but a few of the sights to behold.  Spring must be explosive with color.
