It’s probably been 25 years since I’ve been to a zoo, Bronx I think, so I hopped the Tube, weathered a short hail storm and checked it out.
I thought the flock of flamingoes were a good start but that was the high point. Most of the enclosures seemed empty and the few that had animals were well, lame.
Two sleepy lions, two sleeping tigers. A pair of pigmy hippos, a few coatis, meerkats, two giraffes, and a gorilla.
I’m glad it was on the London Pass for without it the entry fee is £25.50 for adults.
