Peasholm Park to be specific. Tim asked me if I’d like to join him giving his dog a constitutional after breakfast & I jumped at the chance. I might not have found this wee delight otherwise.
Opened as an oriental theme park in 1912 it has been a draw ever since. In the summer model ships reenact sea battles, there is a mini train and other rides and concerts with up to 6000 folks enjoying a summer night on the English seaside. I understand that Brittany Spears recently did a show here between large arena dates!
The morning rain left on schedule leaving nothing but green.
