Beamish, Part 5 – The Pit Village

The village area is aimed at depicting a typical  village of the early 1900’s. We began at the music hall.

Across the street, after the pony stables was the school

It took me a bit to figure out that this was a projector.

And Davy’s still uses the old coal-fired stoves to heat the fish and chips cooked the old fashioned way in beef drippings!
