Christ Church Cathedral – Dublin

After the museum I hopped onto the tram for a couple of stops getting off at Four Courts.

Castles, cathedrals and museums seem to be every old building in Ireland and the UK and always fasinating. This one was no exception.

I’ve seen these eagle lecturns in many churches and wondered why.  Now I know that they symbolize the Word of God carried all over the earth.

And underneath is the largest crypt in Ireland or Britain
