The Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery

by WBlackwell on June 11, 2018

The University of Glasgow’s Hunterian is the oldest museum in Scotland. It covers the Hunterian Museum, the Hunterian Art Gallery, the Mackintosh House, the Zoology Museum and the Anatomy Museum, all located in various buildings on the main campus of the University in the west end of the city.  Bequeathed to the University in 1783 by William Hunter, the leading teacher of anatomy, and the outstanding obstetrician of his day not his more famous brother John.

This Eskimos Overcoat is quite  stylish.

I often have seen these large clumps in trees that turn out to be magpie nests.  Complete with reinforced wires in this case

You sit in the chair whilst professors drill you with questions.  And you can’t see how much time is left.  No stress!

A couple of clowns! Lobby Dosser & Oor Wullie.
